Trusted Advisory Team: Official Group Rules & Expectations

We are a community of professionals dedicated to mutual support, growth, and meaningful referral relationships. To maintain the strength and integrity of our network, all members agree to the following:

1. Referral Commitment

  • Members agree to refer to fellow Trusted Advisory Team members first, when appropriate.

  • Actively seek opportunities to promote, recommend, or support other members’ businesses.

  • Each member is expected to bring quality referrals to the group on a regular basis.

2. Exclusivity

  • Only one member per business service category is allowed at a time.

  • Members must accurately represent their core services to avoid overlap.

  • Category conflicts or questions will be reviewed and resolved by the leadership team.

3. Meeting Attendance

  • Members are expected to attend 90% of weekly meetings, with a minimum of one meeting per month.

  • Consistent absences without communication may result in review or removal.

  • If you’re unable to attend, notify the group lead or send a representative when possible.

4. Professional Conduct

  • Members agree to maintain a high level of professionalism.

  • Respond to inquiries quickly and respectfully.

  • Always act with honesty, integrity, and respect toward fellow members and referrals.

5. Membership Fees

  • Membership requires a $40/month or $400/year payment.

  • Fees are due on time and go toward group operations, promotions, and events.

  • Members more than 30 days late on payment may be suspended or removed.

6. Group Promotion & Marketing

  • Group efforts will be made to promote members on Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.

  • Members may be featured in partner spotlights, social campaigns, or community events.

  • Participation in social media and group promotions is encouraged.

7. Participation & Community Involvement

  • Members are encouraged to take part in:

    • Partner highlights

    • Leadership development topics

    • Guest speaker sessions

    • Service projects and local events (e.g. Tunes @ Tapps)

8. Conflict of Interest & Dispute Resolution

  • Be transparent about any potential conflicts of interest.

  • Do not solicit clients in ways that compromise another member’s business.

  • Disagreements will be reviewed respectfully by the leadership team.

9. Membership Review or Termination

  • Membership may be reviewed or revoked for:

    • Repeated absences

    • Failure to provide referrals

    • Non-payment

    • Unprofessional or unethical conduct

10. Acknowledgment

By joining the Trusted Advisory Team, you agree to these rules and expectations. You are committing to:

  • Regular attendance

  • Active referrals

  • Professional conduct

  • On-time membership payments

  • Supporting the success of the group as a whole
